Our firm’s work in this area focuses primarily on assisting clients where their business interests intersect with legal, regulatory or policy concerns of local or state government in the Metropolitan Atlanta area. Our attorneys regularly assist clients with land use and zoning matters, alcohol licensing and permitting, compliance with Georgia Lottery Commission rules and regulations related to the operation of coin-operated amusement machines (“COAM”), assisting with the creation and implementation of public-private partnerships and providing strategic advice and counsel to individuals and/or businesses who seek to do business with government. On occasion, our practice also includes representing public sector clients in drafting local laws and ordinances and/or serving as outside legal counsel on in specific matters.
